Malcolm Mitchell joined the Valdosta High School teammate Jay Rome as the commitment of Georgia Bulldogs.
Mitchell, like Rome, announced his decision in a live broadcast. Roma took the decision to go to Georgia, known for ESPNU while Mitchell made his announcement in a local radio station Valdosta, Georgia.
Mitchell, of course, is a recipient of 4 stars. Ranked among the 50 outlets across the nation, which remains the top-ranked receiver uncommitted wide left on the board.
MItchell chose the Bulldogs of Alabama, matching his Roma team-mate, the nation's top tight end.
Mitchell also received offers from four other SEC schools, rejecting the possibility of playing at Clemson, too.
Mitchell, along with Rome, he goes straight to the top of the recruiting class of 2011 for the Bulldogs. The two players join ESPN150 Damian Swann athlete, quarterback Christian LeMay, and wide receivers Justin Scott Wesley and Chris Conley in what is undoubtedly an impressive offensive recruiting class that will surely help the Bulldogs to compete in the rugged SEC.
