Miss American 2011 Competition

The 2011 Miss America competition is underway this week at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, with three nights of preliminary competition completed. The ladies wore black bikinis swim n sport for the lifestyle of utmost importance and Fitness category.

Win $ 1000 in the preliminary round swimsuit Night 3 was the lovely Miss Oklahama - Emoly West. The winners of Tuesday and Wednesday night Fuselier Jalee Ashley Davis Miss Hawaii and Miss Alabama. On a side note: Fuselier was named Miss Outstanding Teenager of Hawaii, 2005.

Three nights of preliminary competition has already occurred. On Thursday, Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan was named the winner of that night's preliminary talent for playing piano. Miss Oklahoma Emoly West won recognition as the lifestyle of the night and the winner of fitness (swimsuit). Both won scholarship money.
